Molten glass is blown into or between canvases. The heat burns the textile, expands, and marks the layers of fabric. Several moments unfold within a single work — burning, expansion, cooling — each leaving its own imprint.
The work merges painting with my background in glassblowing. Hot glass introduces intensity, risk, and immediacy; the canvas introduces resistance and time. In the meeting between color and heat, a new body emerges — part painting, part sculpture — where absence and presence form a single gesture.
