New site-specific performance

For Action Art Festival 2026, Torbjörn Johansson develops a new performance in the public space of Náchod.

The action begins with water. Carried, poured, thrown and moved across the surfaces of the city, it leaves temporary traces and becomes a way of reading the place – its slopes, cracks, edges and paths.

A final intervention with pink colour shifts the attention towards what has already taken place. The colour does not create the action; it makes visible something that was there but perhaps remained unnoticed.

The work explores this shift in perception – the moment when something previously overlooked becomes present.
