Description: Draget (The Move) consists of paintings developed through a controlled yet responsive process, where a painted acrylic ground is activated by a single, decisive drag of film milk across the surface. The gesture sets the material in motion, allowing the image to emerge through flow, resistance, and gravity.
The film milk introduces instability and temporal change into the painting. As it is pulled across the acrylic ground, separation, absorption, and drying create subtle shifts in surface and tone. The works balance intention and chance, recording both the physical gesture and the material’s own agency.
