Om Omigen
Botkyrka Konsthall, Tumba, Sweden 2005
Spatial installations, light phenomena, projections, video works.
Om omigen transforms the exhibition space into a sequence of three constructed rooms where light becomes the primary material. Simple textile structures create concentrated micro-worlds with distinct rhythms and degrees of artificial intervention. The first room frames natural daylight as a direct experience of presence and perception. The second is an enclosed space that visitors enter, where natural and artificial light blend and slowly pulse, creating a bodily sense of breathing colour. The third introduces a sudden shift in intensity, a disorienting acceleration where vision is pushed to its limit and expectation is overturned. The exhibition also includes video projections that extend the investigation of colour as physical light and as spatial condition, shaped by time, tempo, and the viewer’s movement.
