Skärhamn
Skärhamn is a pilot project by south east / south west carried out in 2018, continuing an investigation into natural forces as formative agents within artistic process. The pilot project in Skärhamn continued the investigation of natural forces as formative agents within an artistic process. Situated in a coastal environment, the work focused on the interaction between wind, light, salt air, and material resistance. Through temporary, site-specific actions and installations, the project examined how spatial experience emerges in the meeting point between body, surface, and environmental pressure. The Skärhamn project further developed south east / south west as a practice grounded in exposure, duration, and transformation.
