Morocco Dreams
Morocco Dreams is a performance by south east / south west presented at 13festivalen in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2020.
Morocco Dreams is a performative embodiment of the idea of Morocco—as it has been experienced, remembered, or imagined. The work seeks to make the process visible and to activate the space through action.
The performance unfolds as an encounter between natural forces, materials, and bodies. Colors, scents, and references to the Moroccan landscape are brought into the room, forming a three-dimensional, spatial installation. Rather than representing a specific place, the work moves between memory, projection, and sensory experience, allowing the space to be continuously transformed through the act itself.
