Gotland, 2017
Gotland is a pilot project from 2017 that marked the beginning of south east / south west as a collaborative practice. Working directly in the landscape, the project explored wind, light, and weather as active forces shaping both process and outcome. Surfaces, bodies, and materials were placed in open exposure to natural conditions, allowing environmental forces to act as co-creators. The work functioned as a series of site-based experiments, where attention, presence, and material responsiveness were central.
